PAREPARE, Cyberpare.Com – In creating a beautiful and green environment, Bacukiki Subdistrict Kota Parepare holds tree planting activities in one of the villages which will also become the point of utilization of Green Open Space (RTH), precisely in Line Two Perumnas Wekke’E Kelurahan Galung Maloang, Sunday (7/30/2017).
Tree-planting activities with the
community led directly Bacukiki Camat Iskandar Nusu and attended the Village Head Galung Maloang Musdaliah, Babinkamtibmas and KKN students from the university Hasanuddin (Unhas) Makassar.
Iskandar said
this activity aims to reduce the impact of global warming or Global Warming which has become a national issue so that the
need to care to reduce that impact.
“This is a form of our concern with Bacukiki community because this tree planting is an interest for the benefit of human life so it needs to be supported activities like this,” he said.
Disamping itu, menurutnya
kegiatan tanam pohon ini merupakan program yang sangat tepat untuk menjadikan suatu wilayah menjadi hijau, dan Kelurahan Galung Maloang menjadi titik pemanfaatan RTH.
“Jika wilayah sudah menjadi hijau otomatis membuat lingkungan lebih sejuk dan berdampak pada masyarakat sekitar bisa lebih nyaman sebab pohon menghasilkan oksigen dan sumber energi bagi umat manusia,” urai Iskandar.

Unhas yang juga sebagai koordinator kelurahan (Korkel) Unhas untuk wilayah
Kelurahan Galung Maloang mendukung penuh pelaksanaan kegiatan penanaman pohon yang dilakukan ini dalam upaya menekan jumlah kerusakan lingkungan.
“This activity is very much in line with our program so it should continue to be implemented and we support it together especially in the face of climate change,” he said.
Another case, Chairman of RW 5
Kelungahan Galung Maloang, Ilham expect through this activity can make people hooked to move such activities in the future.
“We hope this activity should not only be here but in the future it can be improved even maybe its place not only in this one point,” he said. (Ardi)
